Joanne’s Before & After Restyle. The way-too-long train became the veil and the cute cap sleeves!

“I purchased a used dress from the Brides Against Breast Cancer sale, and knew it needed some tweaks. If anything, it needed to be hemmed and taken in, but I also had dreamed of wearing a tea-length dress even though I couldn’t find one. I also felt like it could use more personality. So, I contacted Crafty Broads, and they transformed my second-hand, David’s Bridal dress into something unique and awesome.

First they took in my dress, and then they hemmed it to just under my knees. The hem looked better than I’d expected, because they had the brilliant idea to leave the lace layer slightly longer than the lining. With all of the extra fabric from the hem, they suggested making matching cap sleeves for my dress, and a matching veil. Each suggestion they made was carefully considered and well-thought out. I loved listening to them brainstorm ideas to come up with the best plan.

After I picked out some red shoes, they suggested adding a red sash, which turned out adorable. They even made my groom a matching red tie! Overall, the result was wonderful!

Best of all, their prices were extremely reasonable, and they were just so down-to-earth and easy to work with. Highly recommend.”
